Abstract
RSTW requires the following outputs:
1. Identification of molecular markers appropriate to carry out genetic analyses at the individual and population level
2. Collection of genetic data from an appropriate subset of available samples
3. Identification and use of analysis methods that are designed to investigate genetic changes in invading populations that are not necessarily in Hardy Weinberg equilibrium
4. A geographic and temporal comparison of genetic variation among grey squirrel populations, and where possible, the genetic origin of the re-invading animals culled on Anglesey
5. A summary report with recommendations as to how this genetic data can be used to inform future plans from RSTW and eradication of grey squirrels in Gwynedd
