II.2.4) Description of the procurement
Perth and Kinross Council is seeking to appoint suitably qualified and experienced contractors to tender for provision of supported living service.
The provider will provide a specialised social care and housing support service to individuals with a range of learning disabilities and in some cases a mental health issue, who are vulnerable and may present challenging behaviours which may pose a risk to themselves and others. The service will provide social and emotional support and direct practical assistance to enable individuals to live as independently as possible in their own home and to maximise quality of life. Services will be planned and operated in a flexible, adaptable way to cope with individual’s changing needs. The service will be provided in the service user’s own home as well as in the community.
The service will be appropriately registered with the care inspectorate and will comply with current standards and guidance.
The service requires to be operational on 14.7.2020.
