II.2.4) Description of the procurement
HIAL wish to appoint a single supplier to supply, deliver, install and commission NDB equipment, (and where necessary antenna and ground plate); decommission existing equipment; and provide support services, compliant with all regulatory and operational requirements at Barra, Benbecula, Campbeltown, Dundee, Inverness, Islay and Kirkwall Airports.
The replacement programme at all sites will be completed by 31.3.2022. The contract will subsist for a period of 15 years following installation of the NDB equipment at the final Site.

In relation to this contract, HIAL proposes the following options:
(a) automatic recording of alarms for fault tracking purposes that includes time and date of fault, along with operational hours of the equipment;
b) provision of an Ethernet connection for remote control and monitoring;
(c) replacement of the existing T-Type antenna at Dundee.
