Abstract

Tender for the support, maintenance and repair of Bradford University’s integrated security system infrastructure.

Contract period — 1.5.2020 to 30.4.2023 with the option to extend until 30.4.2025.

The system is based on Avigilon technologies and consists of intruder alarms, CCTV, help points and intercoms, vehicle barriers and a control room. Required services include one annual preventative maintenance visit (including all required testing), one full-day service visit per month for additional routine preventative maintenance and repair work (as above), 24/7 reactive repairs as and when needed (including a one-hour emergency site response), on-site repairs and the purchase, installation and commissioning of replacement security system equipment.

Essential criteria:

To ensure the continued integrity and validity of its equipment, suppliers wishing to bid for this contract must be an Avigilon Approved Partner.

Suppliers must be able to attend the University site within 1 hour for emergency call outs due to the highly sensitive and often urgent nature of system faults.
