Abstract

DCC is seeking to award a contract up to 8 years with a single service provider for the provision of payment services.

The scope is as follows:

Agent Assisted Payments – DCC call centre agents collect payments over the phone. At the point of card payment DCC agents enter a ‘whisper code’ so card entry over touch tones are intercepted at the 3rd party supplier to offload PCI-DSS compliance. Caller card payment progress is viewed by the agent on their computer screens via a ‘virtual terminal’ but details are obscured. The agent has the ability to highlight if digits are missing and can also reset the process if the caller needs to start fresh.

The interactive voice response system is hosted with the 3rd party supplier and takes payments through automated voice recognition. The IVR is an automated version of the agent assisted payment solution but hosted with suppler to provide PCI-DSS compliance

Website – At the point of initiating payment on the DCC website, customers are re-directed to a 3rd party hosted PCI-DSS compliant website that has DCC branding.
