Contract requirements Researching and writing a report on joint ticketing for WalesOnRails (WoR) a Great Little Trains of Wales (GLToW) project. The aim is to increase the understanding, possibilities, and benefits of public transport linked to joint ticketing at attractions. Exploring the Cockle Card concept. Interviewing and discussing the Cockle Card with key strategic partners. A final report is required with recommendations to benefit tourism providers by increasing visitor numbers using public transport. Key strategic partners are thought to be: • Public transport providers; TfW, Avanti and Traws Cymru. • Welsh National Parks; Snowdonia, Pembrokeshire Coast and Brecon Beacons. • Large tourism and culture groups; Visit Wales, Visit Britain, Wales Tourism Alliance, Association of Leading Visitor Attractions, National Museums, Cadw and the National Trust. • Regional tourism groups; North Wales Tourism, MWT Cymru, Southern Wales Tourism and South West Wales Tourism Associations. • Tourist attraction groups; GLToW, Snowdonia 360, Anglesey Attractions, Tourism SwanseaBay, etc. The final report will feature on the website https://walesonrails.co.uk/ and be shared with all participants and stakeholders.
