Social media is an increasingly important tool for Sport Wales to communicate and engage with a range of audiences.

Social media allows us to have a two-way dialogue with people, which has proven particularly important during the global pandemic.

We have a small communications and digital team, and a dedicated officer to lead on social media. However, the other members of the team support our social media output on a proactive and reactive basis.

The accounts we managed are:

• Twitter x 3 accounts

• Facebook x 3 accounts

• Instagram x 1 account

• Linkedin x 1 account

You can link to these corporate accounts from www.sport.wales.

We may need to add an account for both Instagram and Linkedin to address Welsh language responsibilities, making a total of 10 accounts.

We are looking for a social media management tool that can enable us to manage our accounts and output in one location.

There are a number of things we require from the solution:

• Available to use online

• Can be accessed by multiple users. We currently need access for 6 people

• Mobile/app version/functionality

• In-depth reporting across the accounts

• Media library

• Scheduling and calendar

• Support during working hours – 9-5 Monday to Friday.

• Social trend listening

• Competitor analysis

• Ability to manage inbox in one place

• Workflow and permission management

• The use of emojis and uploading of images and film.

• Campaign tracking

• Link tracking

• Account manager with support to improve user experience and knowledge

• Introductory training and ongoing training allowance
