The University invites tenders from potential suppliers to provide the goods and services associated with providing laundrette facilities for 10 blocks of new build accommodation on Frenchay Campus.Due for completion September 2023, these blocks will consist of a total of 900 bed spaces and will be built to Passivhaus Standards.Electric is available in all blocks; gas is not available within the scheme.UWE will be building more accommodation on our campus in the next few years. The successful supplier may be considered for future accommodation developments.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The University is seeking a service contract agreement for a managed launderette facility for student residential accommodation. The contract will be to provide the goods and services associated with providing laundrette facilities for 10 blocks of new build accommodation on Frenchay Campus.Due for completion September 2023, these blocks will consist of a total of 900 bed spaces and will be built to Passivhaus Standards.Electric is available in all blocks; gas is not available within the scheme.UWE will be building more accommodation on our campus in the next few years. The successful supplier may be considered for future accommodation developments.The primary customer of this contract is the University of the West of England (currently committed partners). However, this contract may also be used by any local authority the South-West region of England, a list of which can be found at https://swcouncils.gov.uk/list-of-local-authorities/. It may also be used by the Avon & Somerset Constabulary, the Avon Fire & Rescue Service, the University of Bristol, the University of the West of England, the University of Bath, and NHS trusts in the Bristol area, a list of which can be found at http://www.bwpc.nhs.uk/
