Installation of Renewables at the Roadside Cafe

Description of the goods or services required
Roadhouse café - Unit 4, Pant Industrial Estate, Dowlais, Merthyr Tydfil CF48 2SR, this local catering unit services the community and businesses in Pant, Galon Uchaf and Dowlais, but is off grid for gas meaning it’s only energy supply is electricity, recent price rises in electricity are threatening the sustainability of the café.
We propose supporting the café with the installation of a 16 KWp Solar PV array and 5 kWhr of battery storage and are seeking tenders to carry out this installation.
The roof has recently been over clad with steel sheeting but the under roof below is asbestos, so particular attention should be given to safely securing the solar PV panels.
It is recommended to carry out a survey prior to tender.
