Sefton Council is seeking a professional Supplier to provide a targeted and comprehensive data tracking, careers advisory and support service working with young people who are not engaged (or at risk of disengaging) in education, learning or employment (EET) in Sefton, to add value to the resources already available to the majority of young people through schools and training providers.
The Supplier will assist the Council in meeting the relevant statutory duties for tracking and monitoring of young people not in education, employment or training (NEET) data to government and will also provide a comprehensive range of information, advice, guidance, and personal support services for young people who are NEET together with personalised guidance services for young people deemed to be vulnerable and at a higher risk of becoming NEET in the future. These service elements will be underpinned by accurate data evidencing needs and patterns of participation. This service will also provide an integrated pathway for young people from year 9 who are at risk of becoming NEET by the age of 16 and are referred to the Supplier.
