II.2.4) Description of the procurement
Denbighshire County Council are looking to ascertain the level of interest in the market for the project detailed below.
Denbighshire County Council Community Support Services are seeking a registered social landlord to work in partnership with the Council to develop a housing with care scheme in Corwen. This will be primarily for older people with care needs but with the option to provide accommodation and care/support for some younger adults with additional needs. Our strategic goal is to create a hub providing a variety of health and social care services to older people in the area. These care services will be developed/commissioned separately.
Denbighshire County Council have potential sites within its ownership for the scheme. Nothing is fixed at this point, and the Council welcome full and direct involvement from a Registered Social Landlord in all aspects of the proposed scheme. The Council anticipate creating approximately a 30 bed facility.
At this stage Denbighshire County Council is open to exploring options by working collaboratively to deliver the housing scheme
