UKRI are looking for a supplier who can work with us to implement the next phase of the Community Research Networks programme.
The supplier(s) will be responsible for working in partnership with UKRI to develop and deliver:
•A grant awarding process
•A strategic coordination programme
The total budget for this programme of work is £1,200,000 excluding VAT.
The work will begin in April 2024 and will be complete by March 2030.
Community Research Networks is a funding call launched by UKRI in July 2022. The purpose of the programme is to fund consortia across the UK to build the capacity, capability and connectivity required to support sustainable and equitable community engagement with research. This programme supports our public engagement strategy objective to make sure the benefits of research and innovation are shared widely by supporting collaboration and valuing diverse forms of knowledge.

WP1: The Implementation phase grant administration is made up into the following elements:
1.An accessible, secure and easy-to-use application process, including assessment, due diligence, awarding and payment.
2.Applicant support, including briefing sessions and on-demand assistance.
3.Mechanisms to monitor, change, close, reconcile and recover grants.
WP2: The Strategic Coordination Programme will be made up of the following four elements:
1.Applicant and awardee support and engagement
2.Peer-to-peer networking, knowledge exchange and professional development
3.Learning and evaluation
4.Network building and thought leadership
