Abstract

Bridgend County Borough Council (BCBC) is looking for tenderers to propose a model of delivery that delivers against one, two or all the following interventions: • Enhanced support for existing cultural, historic and heritage institutions that make up the local cultural heritage offer, including improvements to access to sites to counter the effects of isolation, particularly for older people and disabled people. • Support for local arts, cultural, heritage and creative activities. • Support for active travel enhancements and other small-scale sustainable transport infrastructure projects, in accordance with Wales Transport Strategy. Bridgend Council is seeking innovative proposals that add value to the delivery of its Resilient Communities programme, operating within the Communities and Place investment priority of the Shared Prosperity Fund. This could be a pilot project, testing a new innovative model of delivery within a specific place or with a particular group of people. Bridgend County Borough Council (BCBC) has been awarded funding by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
