II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The UK Atomic Energy Authority has a requirement for a Pressure Assembly Fabricated from Stainless Steel Tubing for a Cryogenic Application in Vacuum for MAST-U.
Scope of work for manufacture of single pressure assembly fabricated from stainless steel tubing for a cryogenic application (the DBB Cryopump) in vacuum for MAST-U. Build work will involve (but not limited to) stainless steel tube fitting and welding; assembly work; pressure testing; and liquid nitrogen cold testing.
A technical overview of the requirement is available for download along with some market sounding questions. Potential suppliers are requested to confirm if they are interested in tendering for the requirement and, if possible, provide responses to our market sounding questions.
