II.2.4) Description of the procurement
A Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the procurement of medicinal products and a limited number of presentations which may be classified as medical devices (e.g. non-medicated creams, gels, liquids, powders).
The Medicinal Products DPS is established for the purpose of awarding contracts for the use by the following 'Participating Bodies':
i. Belfast Health and Social Care Trust (BHSCT);
ii. South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust (SEHSCT);
iii. Northern Health and Social Care Trust (NHSCT);
iv. Southern Health and Social Care Trust (SHSCT);
v. Western Health and Social Care Trust (WHSCT);
vi. Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS);
vii. Northern Ireland Blood Transfusion Service (NIBTS);
viii. Business Services Organisation (BSO);
ix. Public Health Agency (PHA);
x. Department of Health Northern Ireland (DoH(NI)).

This Contract Notice is intended to duplicate and replace notice 2015/S 243-440518 (published via TED 16/12/2015) and subsequent Corrigendum 2021/S 020-048659 (published via TED 29/01/2021). This notice is intended to inform the market that a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the procurement of Medicinal Products was established in 2015 and is currently extended until 14/12/2025. Any further notice publication concerning the further extension of the DPS or any resultant contract awarded through the DPS shall be communicated via the relevant notice, through Find a Tender. This notice shall serve as the official notification on Find a Tender, of the establishment of the DPS and shall provide notification to the market of the ongoing opportunity provided to interested parties to join the DPS.
