Abstract

During the month of August 2023, using a commissioning framework we sought to procure a provider to deliver stakeholder engagement activity with people residing in Wakefield District who have lived experience of being a migrant (contract period 6-8 months). This was unsuccessful, with providers remarking that they didn't have the necessary skills to deliver the project or that they didn't have capacity to deliver in the timeframe required.

After the unsuccessful procurement we then looked at obtaining 3 quotes and have gone with the most suitable provider to undertake the engagement activity to a high standard.
