Abstract

Hertfordshire County Council currently commissions support and accommodation-based services for single adults experiencing homelessness and multiple disadvantage in Broxbourne Borough and North Hertfordshire District Council.The Council wants to commission this service again. Hertfordshire’s ambition for its residents is to thrive, be healthy, and to live independently. We recognise independent living can be a struggle for some of our residents, particularly those experiencing homelessness and multiple disadvantage, which can be life changing and difficult to resolve.The Council expects this service to work effectively under the realms of prevention, with people who are experiencing homelessness and multiple disadvantage, and align to the Hertfordshire Supporting Adults with Complex Needs Strategy. As well as several of the Council’s strategic objectives:• Preventing and reducing care and support needs (ACS 15 Year Plan)• Preventing homelessness and reducing rough sleeping• Connected Lives – helping to support people to remain in their homes and connected to communities• Improving health and wellbeing and reducing health inequalities as a result of homelessness• Hertfordshire’s Domestic Abuse Partnership StrategyThis procurement is an Open process. Organisations wishing to take part in this project are invited to ‘express an interest’ and also ‘opt in’ which will give access to the full procurement documents in the e-tendering system.To be considered as a Tenderer you must complete and submit a Tender by the deadline of 12 Noon on Friday 15th March 2024.Please allow sufficient time to make your return, as Tender submissions cannot be uploaded and submitted after this return deadline. Please ensure that where possible documents are uploaded as a PDF and that file names are succinct. Hertfordshire County Council is looking to commission support and accommodation-based services for single adults experiencing homelessness and multiple disadvantage in Broxbourne Borough and North Hertfordshire District Council. Further information in regards to this opportunity can be found in II.2.4 and VI.3. Organisations wishing to take part in this project are invited to express interest which will give access to the full procurement documents in the e-tendering system. To be considered as a Bidder you must complete and submit a Bid by the deadline of 12:00 Noon on Friday 15th March 2024.Please allow sufficient time to make your return as late returns will not be permitted by the system.
