Abstract

This project is to understand the UK AI Sector's contribution to the UK economy. This will build supporting evidence across all three pillars outlined in the strategy. Building on the work of the initial AI sector study, the supplier will undertake updated analysis on the UK Artificial Intelligence (AI) sector's contribution to the UK economy, providing robust evidence to inform government policy making. Four Outputs will include:

1. Identifying all AI firms in the UK.

2. Create a dataset that captures economic estimates and business demographics of

UK AI firms.

3. Present the Data in a user-friendly dashboard to enable further analysis in DSIT.

4. Replicating the previous 2022 report by drafting a statistical report.
