Abstract

The Public Services Board would like to commission research to help us to understand: i) The carbon footprint of the county of Powys (scopes 1, 2 and 3). ii) The carbon sequestration potential of the county of Powys and a spatial understanding of where the opportunities are. iii) A science-based ‘fair share’ decarbonisation target for the county of Powys. iv) Priority interventions needed for the county of Powys to reach net zero in a way that maximises the wellbeing of people and nature. Please see Request for Quote document for full information about our requirements. We also want to enable Powys County Council to publicly report on area-based climate action via CDP. See attached documents for more information.

The Public Services Board would like to commission research to help us to understand:
