Powys Public Services Board Climate Research

Description of the goods or services required

The Public Services Board would like to commission research to help us to understand:

i) The carbon footprint of the county of Powys (scopes 1, 2 and 3).

ii) The carbon sequestration potential of the county of Powys and a spatial understanding of where the opportunities are.

iii) A science-based ‘fair share’ decarbonisation target for the county of Powys.

iv) Priority interventions needed for the county of Powys to reach net zero in a way that maximises the wellbeing of people and nature.

We also want to enable Powys County Council to publicly report on area-based climate action via CDP.
