LCC requires a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to provide an on-site and offsite (for the bigger jobs) maintenance and repairs of the Councils RoRo containers.
The services required includes but are not limited to, repairs to locking mechanism, cross bars repairs/replace, door straightening, locking pins and rachets, wheels replacing and repairs to wheel brackets, repainting of containers following repairs or damage, replacement sections of metal (Floors,

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
LCC requires the services of a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to cover the following services:
• Attending on a reactive basis to deal with the repairs of RoRo Containers on LCC sites or offsite. (Site addresses listed in schedule 3).
• All repairs shall be undertaken in a safe manner and in compliance with all Health and Safety requirements.
• All repairs to do be completed within the response times specified.
For onsite repairs, the Supplier is expected to do basic repairs such as net hooks, securing pins etc onsite as such repairs do not take up too much room to carry out onsite.
For Offsite repairs, these will inclue, repairs such as bent back doors, damaged goal posts, damaged headboards, wheel replacement should ideally be repaired offsite if it’s possible for the container to be transported.
Major repairs such as new back door, new floor should ideally be repaired off site if the container can be transported.
We are expecting the contractor where possible to be efficient with the transporting of the containers, for example drop off a container that was repaired offsite back to the LCC site and pick up a container that may need repairing at the same time.
