II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The Optoelectronics Research Centre (ORC) is purchasing a tunable mid-IR laser system that can used in the frame of the MISSION EPSRC programme grant. The system will be used for research and based in Building 53 (Mountbatten building at Highfield Campus).
This will comprise of an estimated delivery lead time of up to four months followed by a 1 year warranty period and an option 7 x 12 month extensions to the warranty that can be used at the University's discretion.
