Abstract

Following the success of the Isle of Anglesey County Council (IACC) bid for UK Government ‘Levelling-up’ (LUF) funding and following work to develop plans and gain the necessary permissions, Bangor Diocesan Board of Finance wishes to appoint a construction contractor to supervise and implement the works on site. In brief, the works comprise the following: • Various conservation works on the Grade I listed St Cybi’s church • The careful removal of items from the interior and the laying of a new floor with underfloor heating • The restoration of certain items into new positions, including historic floor tiles • The construction of an extension to the neighbouring Eglwys y Bedd and the restoration of its interior • Installation of carbon reduction technologies, including ASHP units and solar panels Please see attached specification document for more details.

2.2 Description of the goods or services required

In brief, the works comprise the following:

• Various conservation works on the Grade I listed St Cybi’s church

• The careful removal of items from the interior and the laying of a new floor with underfloor heating

• The restoration of certain items into new positions, including historic floor tiles

• The construction of an extension to the neighbouring Eglwys y Bedd and the restoration of its interior

• Installation of carbon reduction technologies, including ASHP units and solar panels
