YPO are considering establishing a framework for Business Services within the Education Sector, this includes all schools/academy/multi-academy trusts (MATs) across the UK and will be a nationwide framework. The aim of this framework is to provide a compliant solution to support the Education Sector focussing on Primary, Secondary and Higher Education to meet their back-office functions and requirements supported through advice based services with supporting platforms where required.
YPO would like to create a solution that allows the education sector to procure all business services in one place, this may include:
- HR Advice
- Payroll Services
- Academy Conversion
- Occupational Health and EAP
- Governance
- Health and Safety in Schools
- Finance Management
- Data Protection
The above is an indicative list only and will be a flexible model as part of this project to help us gain an understanding of exactly what services the education sector requires to operate their back office functions effectively.

YPO are the biggest public sector buying organisation that create frameworks for a variety of services and products. Public sector organisations can utilise our frameworks to meet their requirements.
YPO are seeking to undertake supplier engagement with providers to understand the key elements of the market and the need for a nationwide framework agreement for Business Services for Education. YPO have been working with customers across the public sector and would like to understand how your organisation can deliver a variety of Business Services for Education.

YPO will incorporate a standstill period at the point of notification of the award of the contract
is provided to all bidders. The standstill period will be for a minimum of 10 calendar days, and
provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract
is entered into. The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 provide for aggrieved parties who
have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High
Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland).
