Abstract

Essex County Council is seeking a Strategic Innovation Partner/s to work

in partnership with us to identify, scope and design a response to early

intervention support for families impacted by domestic abuse. It will

include working with all appropriate family members/significant others,

including the perpetrator. As partners, we share costs, skills, information

and/or other resources in the pursuit of common goals.

Focus must be low risk families not families that have been assessed as high

risk (demonstrate possible early indicators of DA).

Early help principles should be at the heart of the offer.

Any approach should be flexible and responsive to context and “family” make

up, cohorts and culture.
