Abstract

The Environment Agency on behalf of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) and <br/>Devolved Administrations (DA) will be inviting proposals to provide the Central Management and Control Unit (CMCU) <br/>and the Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) for the UK Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAH) <br/>Monitoring Network from 7th February 2025.<br/><br/>The purpose of the PAHs Network is to determine the ambient concentrations of PAHs in the UK atmosphere <br/>through monitoring and chemical analysis to ensure the UK complies with the PAHs related provisions of the <br/>UK’s Air Quality Standard Regulations 2010, which incorporate EU’s 4th Air Quality Daughter Directive and the <br/>Air Quality Strategy PAHs Objective. <br/><br/>Data from this network is uploaded on to Home - Defra, UK <br/><br/>A draft specification for this opportunity can be requested from to dgc-laww-buyer@defra.gov.uk inbox by referencing this opportunity. <br/>The Environment Agency and Defra Group Commercial will be holding an online Market Engagement Online Event on Thursday 23rd January. Please register your interest for this event no later than 5pm on Monday 20th January. <br/><br/>Please confirm your interest in bidding for this opportunity and/or attending the Market Engagement Online Event; and we would like to know of any barriers, stating what they are, to you entering this market competition to dgc-laww-buyer@defra.gov.uk inbox referencing this opportunity.
