Norfolk County Council wishes to enter into a contract(s) for health and wellbeing services. The contract will be for 2 Lots, providing Occupational Health services.In respect to NCC’s vision of this service: Occupational Health Service - An assessment, advice and treatment service that enables NCC to manage employees appropriately in relation to the effects of health on work and work on health. Norfolk County Council (NCC) is made up of directorates including Adult Social Care, Children’s Services, Cultural Services, Education, etc. This is Lot 1. Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service (NFRS) is part of NCC but has additional occupational health requirements. The health and well-being of our staff is key to the delivery of services to residents of Norfolk. In conjunction with an in-house health, safety and well-being team, our 7000 managers and employees have access to a number of services in order to provide assessment, treatment and advice in relation to all aspects of their health that have an impact on their job. In addition, we offer these services on a traded basis to local authority schools and academies.In respect to NCC’s vision of this service: Occupational Health Service - An assessment, advice and treatment service that enables NCC to manage employees appropriately in relation to the effects of health on work and work on health. The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as amended) provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland).Proceedings must be brought within 30 days from the date of knowledge (the date on which the economic operator first knew or ought to have known that grounds for starting the proceedings had arisen) unless the Court considers that there is good reason for extending the period within which proceedings may be brought, in which case the Court may extend that period up to a maximum of 3 months from the date of knowledge.
