UKRI is sourcing the equipment from this particular supplier because we already have similar machines in operation, which ensures compatibility, streamlined maintenance, and operational efficiency. Additionally, this choice safeguards the intellectual property rights (IPR) associated with the equipment, as using another supplier could introduce risks to proprietary technology and hinder seamless integration with our existing systems.
