Abstract

The MPS is tendering for the supply of Employee IDVA and ISVA Services to the MPS. The MPS is seeking through this tendering process to award a contract with a suitably capable supplier to provide these services for an initial term of two years with a unilateral option of the MPS to extend for a further period of one year to a maximum of 3 years.

MPS are willing to accept collaborative bids on the basis that if successful, the resulting contract for services will be with one supplier as the lead and responsible for delivery of the entire service as specified in the service specification.

The MPS requires a supplier to supply an internal IDVA and ISVA service for officers and staff employed by the organisation to access if they experience domestic abuse. The supplier will have a proven track record in supporting victim survivors of domestic abuse and sexual violence. They will understand the unique barriers to reporting that victims of police perpetrated offences face and will also be able to navigate the complexities that come with disclosure of abuse within a police organisation.

Victims will be able to self-refer or be referred (with consent) by a colleague on their behalf. Victims can be referred to the service at any point regardless of whether or not a criminal investigation has been launched. There will be obligation on the supplier to provide any personal information to the MPS about their clients or offences that have been disclosed. The service is not reserved for just high-risk cases.
