The provision of mental health inpatient beds for Acute & PICU patients through a framework including 3 lots.<br/>Lots 1 & 2 - These beds will be for both male and female patients. These are split into regional areas throughout England which could be utilised by the Authority for the placing of service customers in location(s) near to their home, or if no beds are available in their area, to beds in alternative areas. <br/>Lot 3 - This lot will be run as the initial regional volume of beds required. The focus will be on beds within the West Midlands conurbation preferably within a 20-mile radius. The Authority estimates they will be procuring 110 beds (80 – Acute, 30 – PICU beds) as an annual block for the duration of the contract

Birmingham and Solihull (BSOL) Procurement Collaborative is issuing this Invitation to Tender (ITT) for the ‘Mental Health Adult Inpatient Beds, Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).<br/>The Authority are establishing a Framework Agreement for the provision of mental health inpatient beds (spot buy) (LOT 1 PICU and LOT 2 Acute) with an immediate requirement for a regional volume of beds (Block buy) (LOT 3). Suppliers are invited to bid for all or any combination of the lots. BSol Procurement Collaborative is conducting the procurement using the Competitive Procedure in accordance with the requirements of The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 (PSR 2023) for the purpose of procuring the Services as described in the Specification.
