II.2.4) Description of the procurement

The Environment Agencies, Monitoring Laboratories (ML) operate as a business unit of the Environment Agency (EA) and are based at two (2) locations; Starcross and Leeds. The ML has responsibility for the provision of analytical analysis in accordance with the EA’s statutory responsibility for monitoring the environment.<br/>The EA require the supply of up to (4) four Inductively Couple Plasma Optical Emission Spectrophotometer (ICPOES) (the Equipment) across their two (2) laboratories.<br/>The Equipment is required for the analysis of a range of metals in water, sediment, soil, biota and waste materials and are the industry standard for these measurements used across regulatory, water industry and commercial laboratories
