Procurement description
Summer Uni 2026 is Enfield Council’s annual summer holiday programme delivered by the Youth Development Service, commissioning community groups, voluntary organisations and businesses to provide high-quality short courses and enrichment activities for young people aged 11 to 19, and up to 25 with SEND.
The programme offers a wide range of engaging opportunities, including:
• Sports and physical activities
• Music and creative arts
• Drama and performing arts
• Health and beauty
• IT, digital skills and photography
• Cooking and food skills
• Arts, fashion and design
• Skills for life, personal development and confidence building
A key focus is on career-based learning, helping young people gain insight into future professions such as healthcare, law, property and other professional pathways.
Please Note, although the total contract Value stated is £80,000; Providers may apply for funding of up to £2,000 per activity, subject to assessment and available budget.
Summer Uni forms part of the Council’s commitment to supporting positive engagement, personal development, wellbeing and aspiration through inclusive, accessible summer provision across the borough.
The procurement is being run as a regulated below threshold procurement (open competition). This procurement process is being undertaken using the electronic tendering system, 'Atamis' https://londonboroughofenfield.my.site.com
Interested Organisations must express an interest via Atamis e-tendering portal, specifically on the project “Summer Uni 2026 – C8860”. Bidders need to register on Atamis via the aforementioned link, if they are not already registered and submit a tender submission no later than 12:00 Noon on Monday 23rd March 2026 to participate. Tender submissions cannot be uploaded after the return deadline.
