Procedure
Procedure type
Direct award
Description of how these justifications apply
The placements underpinning the programme and influencing course design are supplied through Twins employer network and are not transferable to third parties as they are placements secured and managed under Twin's contractual arrangements. Replicating the model would not be possible without access to this network and proprietary methodology and would require substantial redesign of the placement model and course.
No other provider delivers the same combination of a 1+1 Master Launch Strategy for universities, sector-specific employability support for international Master's students, and ongoing programme development, diversification, and promotion as part of a single, integrated and embedded delivery model. This combined approach is unique to Twin, and forms a distinct market offering.

Contract terms and risks
Description of risks to contract performance
Any circumstance that disrupts normal teaching and learning at the University of East Anglia (UEA) may also impact the delivery of the services and obligations under this contract. Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to, staffing shortages, industrial action, public health events, regulatory changes, facilities or infrastructure constraints, technology failures, or other unforeseen events. Where such disruptions occur, they may affect the format, scheduling, location, or availability of teaching, learning activities, or related services under this agreement. In addition, Student enrolment projections are based on planning assumptions that may change due to variations in demand, funding, regulatory requirements, or operational capacity. There is a risk that actual enrolment numbers may increase or decrease from forecast levels. These risks may impact the scope, value or duration of this contract and the institution reserves the right to adjust student intake numbers, including increasing capacity where feasible, to respond to demand.
