Abstract

Westworks consortium are looking to appoint a NASC accredited scaffolding contractors to supply and install scaffolding for all of its sites for the life of the 4 year framework. The geographical area to be covered by this framework covers the South and South west of England, and South Wales.

The total estimated value is GBP 7,000,000 -GBP 50,000,000 over the life of the framework. However, call-off of contracts of periods of over 4 years is possible and may increase these values accordingly. There is no guarantee that the estimated values will be achieved and they are for indicative projected value only.

Bids are based on technical and geographical capability so as to encourage small to medium as well as larger enterprises to participate. Limited geographical coverage by a potential provider will not necessarily exclude them from the process as it is Westworks users aim to encourage local employment and engage with local businesses as well as engaging with other suitably qualified providers.

Important note:

It is not the intention to split the works by geographical lots but to award places on the framework based on having enough providers to deliver in all areas and to award works contracts by running mini-competitions (mini-tenders) from the framework. Bidders will be required to identify the areas in which they are able to provide the services described within the tender documents.

This tender is being conducted through the Westworks In-tend e-procurement portal.

All documentation is only available via https://in-tendhost.co.uk/westworks. Please click onto the url detailed above and then click on Current Tenders, locate project reference SCAFF2014 Internal Works Framework and follow the instructions detailed within the documents.

Once you have registered and expressed interest in the project, you will be able to access all applicable documents for this project. Please note that registration must be completed as required. Tender documents cannot be released from the portal until the supplier registration has been completed satisfactorily.

Submissions for this opportunity are uploaded to this portal and questionnaires are answered on-line.

Good luck and we look forward to receiving your completed submissions.

The Westworks Team.
