Abstract

Genomics England is developing its data processing system. Support is required in the design and development of 3 deliverables.

— A data processing system to support automation of key business processes;

— A central data repository to serve as consistent data source for existing and future data dependent applications and processes;

— A system able to detect changes, validate the status and integrity of clinical data, and distribute the data to appropriate downstream systems when defined criteria are met.

The initial system build must support the following business systems/processes:

— Bio-informatics — Provision of data to Bio-informatics systems and acquisition of ‘Status Updates’ generated by the Bioinformatics processes;

— Management Information Platform — Provision of data to the Management Information Platform;

— Research Repository — Provision of data to the Research Repository;

— Query Resolution — Creation and management of clinical data queries.
