Redistribution in Agriculture – Insights Paper/Research

Description of the goods or services required
WRAP Cymru is currently delivering its Food Waste Prevention Programme, which seeks to increase resource efficiency in the food and drink sector in Wales. We are looking to procure an organisation to deliver an insights paper to identify opportunities to increase food redistribution from the agriculture sector, focussing on the key crops in Wales. As a guide, this may comprise the following:
A review of existing activity in Wales in this area
Identification off the main reasons why surpluses are occurring
A summary of the main barriers to increasing redistribution from agriculture
A proposed action plan for WRAP to take forward over the next 14 months, to increase activity in this area.
