Canterbury Christ Church University has a long term lease with for the St George’s Centre, which comprises of a cafe, bar, reception and offices for the students union on the ground floor and 230 study bedrooms on the floors above and also behind the inner courtyard of the building. The bar and cafe are operated as a service primarily for the University community, but also open to the public, visitors and conference guests. The University is seeking to award a contract for the management of the bar and cafe to provide the services for these outlets to the students union on behalf of the University.
