SFRS has a requirement for the provision and fitting of combined cold cutting and ultra-high pressure firefighting equipment to their appliances. There will be an initial requirement for a number of the equipment to be provided and fitted in order to allow SFRS to conduct a 6-month pilot evaluation of the equipment in an operational environment. Dependant on the outcome of this pilot, SFRS may purchase further units to be deployed within each Service Delivery Area.

The lance/branch must be constructed in such a manner as to be easily operated safely by a single person unaided.
