II.2.4) Description of the procurement
Winchester City Council (the 'Council') is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced organization to provide architectural design and ancillary services (including urban design and BIM) for a new sport and leisure facility in Winchester.
The sport and leisure facility has an estimated construction value of circa £30m and forms part of a wider sports park. It will include (subject always to feasibility and financial viability) a 50m swimming pool together with ancillary wet and dry facilities.
The proposed facility is situated on a greenfield site on the edge of the City of Winchester adjacent to residential areas and the M3 motorway near the South Downs.
