The Police and Crime Commissioner for Lincolnshire (PCC) is looking to appoint a contractor for the provision of insurance services (excluding broking services). It is envisaged that the initial Contract Term shall be for an annual contract under a 3 year Long Term Agreement from 1.4.2018 with 2 options to extend for a period of 12 months each at the sole discretion of the PCC. This procurement process will be divided into 5 lots:
Lot 1 — Employers Liability;
Lot 2 — Public, Products, Pollution Liability, Officials Indemnity, Libel;
Lot 3 — Professional Indemnity;
Lot 4 – Motor Fleet;
Lot 5 — Fidelity Guarantee.

Insurers will be insurance companies authorised to write classes of insurance listed within the EU Member states subject to English/Welsh Law and the Jurisdiction of the English/Welsh courts. The service will be regulated by the provisions of the Insurance Act 1982 and any modification thereof. Bids are permitted from Insurance Companies and Managing General Agents working with specific Insurers. Bids are not permitted from Insurance Brokers unless working exclusively with an identified Insurer who has expressed interest in the Contract Notice.
