II.1.4) Short description
Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) require a 24/7/365 service year round for the hire, supply and erection of marquees and tents for operations and events. Requirements for large national events with specific venues are sometimes known in advance, but on rare occasions, urgent responses will be requested for the hire and erection of equipment at short notice.
Generally, the marquees and/or tents will be required to be positioned in specific locations that are either on MPS property or on hired rented grounds, for example, private playing fields, schools etc. at defined times within an approximate 25 miles radius of Central London and the M25 boundary.
The supplier will be given adequate access to allow erection, of marquee and ancillary items. However, there may be occasions where marquees are required outside the M25 boundary.
Requirements are usually programmed in advance but occasionally due to security or major incidents, there may be a requirement to supply at very short notice.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
Property Services Operational Support Group (OSG) of the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) require a 24/7/365 service year round for the hire, supply and erection of marquees and tents for operations and events.
