This tender is for the supply of architects. Midland Heart will be establishing a panel of suppliers for the next 2-4 years. The panel is split into 2 lots as follows:
Lot 1: Architects — contracts up to 6 000 000 GBP;
Lot 2: Architects — contracts over 6 000 000 GBP.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
This tender is for the supply of architects. Midland Heart will be establishing a panel of suppliers for the next 2-4 years.
Each panel will be awarded a minimum number of 5 suppliers.
Once the panel has been awarded, Midland Heart will be able to call off orders under this contract with the successful contractor(s). Midland Heart reserves the right to allocate individual orders to the successful tenderers within each lot, on the merits of the information provided by each tenderer within its submission.
The contract is to be awarded for an initial 2-year period with the option to extend annually for a further 2 years based on vfm and performance. Midland Heart are awarding a short term contract as they are in the process of calculating and understanding their planned works requirements and the structure that a future programme will take. Appointing a panel of contractors will enable Midland Heart to award contracts that deliver value for money while at the same time allowing them the flexibility to deliver the programme in the most efficient manner and ensure timely delivery of the works if capacity is unavailable with some panel members. By submitting a tender, tenderers agree that they understand and agree to work to the award mechanism outlined above.
