Explanation
The current revenues and benefits software has been embedded for many years for the Council's revenues and benefits operations. This contract award is for an interim period only while the Council is considers options on the longer term requirements for revenues and benefits solution. Only the incumbent supplier has the technical knowledge and expertise to maintain this software without major disruption to service.
