Transport for Wales - Asbestos Strip at Garth Estate, Taffs Well

Description of the goods or services required

TfW requires a competent contractor to strip asbestos from buildings A1 – A22 on the North side of the Garth Estate at Taffs Well in South Wales. Works will include the safe removal and disposal of asbestos from site.

Total quantity or scope of tender

The purpose of this tender is to identify and appoint a competent contractor with sound experience of safely removing and disposing of all asbestos from buildings in an environmentally friendly manner in line with current legislation. The completion of this activity will allow the new Operational and Development Partner of the Wales and Borders railway service to begin the next phase of the project which is demolition of the structures at the site.

Tenderers must hold a valid asbestos removal licence as per HSG247.
