Abstract

Hywel Dda University Health Board (HDUHB) has a developed a range of leadership and Quality Improvement development programmes over the last few years. This investment in staff development is intended to increase our staff’s ability and capacity to lead and deliver sustained improvements within a complex and dynamic healthcare environment in Wales. In recognition of this the Health Board is looking to establish a relationship with an expert in Human Factors and Appreciative Inquiry, in order to ensure consistency across all our training & development and organisation development programmes in relation to the impact of human interactions, systems, equipment and environments of care within complex healthcare systems.
