Abstract

The peer support training programme will prepare individuals with lived experience to utilise their skills to support the recovery of individuals currently using mental health services. The applicants will pilot a training programme that will be co-designed and co-delivered with service users and carers. The programme should use a blended learning approach including work placements. This product once developed, will be owned by the health board and the process will be used to train the in house trainers, in order for the programme to be offered to others as the service evolves.
