In order to maintain its access to critical communications and interoperability with the emergency services, National Highways must therefore also transition to ESN. In preparation, National Highways has decided to undertake a procurement exercise for a new locker infrastructure. The 750+ Airwave radios, currently used by National Highways Service Providers are, when not in use, hosted and secured in an existing Traka Locker infrastructure comprising circa 100 lockers.
