Abstract

Wrexham County Borough Council (WCBC) is seeking to engage an external consultant / agency to carry out a scoping exercise to develop a new role. The role will seek to scope a new Carers’ Lead Officer role for the Social Care Department, which will lead strategic and operational project and service development work to support the needs of unpaid carers across Wrexham. The Consultant will take a co-productive, project management approach, working with a range of internal and external partners to identify service gaps, unmet need and opportunities for strategic and operational service development, which will form part of the Carer’s Lead Officer post. There is a budget of up to £5,000 for this service.

2.2 Description of the goods or services required

Wrexham County Borough Council (WCBC) is seeking to engage an external consultant / agency to carry out a scoping exercise to develop a new role.

The role will seek to scope a new Carers’ Lead Officer role for the Social Care Department, which will lead strategic and operational project and service development work to support the needs of unpaid carers across Wrexham.
