Abstract

The NG Stories approach is built around a central experience hub and supported by a series of connected experiences that meet potential visitors at home, greet them as they enter and guide them to the central space. We aim to welcome, engage and learn from visitors, old and new.

Developed with a HCD (Human Centred Design) approach through collaboration between the gallery and the public, launching online in January 2024, and in-gallery in May 2024 NG Stories will connect the Gallery to the nation by opening a conversation and telling the untold stories of the people and places behind the collection over the last 200 years.

The design agency will be required to design and support implementation of these experiences.
