Abstract

Invitation to tender & provide the Development and Implement an interface (Application Programming Interface – API) to move specific Farm Antimicrobial Usage (AMU) data A tender is invited to deliver the development of multiple Application Programming Interfaces – API necessary to enable WLBP to safely transfer farmer permitted AMU data from one program to another. The successful tender will facilitate the digital supply and transfer of AMU usage data. The dataset involved will be substantial, detailed, and specific Antimicrobial Usage data of more than 4500 Welsh Farms, which will need to be supplied to the Red Meat Supply Chain within the Agriculture industry. These stakeholders include meat processors, wholesalers, and multiple large retailers. The system will need to be able to extract, validate, and transfer a large volume of AMU Data from existing data repository databases within WLBP and other partner IT Systems. The transfer of any individual data held by WLBP members will be subject to strict scrutiny under GDPR legislation. Permissions engines will be utilised to provide greater individual consent. The winning tender will be required to have a detailed knowledge of the digital codes that underpin the existing data repositories. Without this specific intelligence it is anticipated any tenderer will need to consider and carefully evaluate such cost implications in their proposal. (Full specification of the systems will be supplied to the successful tender)
