Abstract

The Procurement Hub wishes to set up a Domestic Appliances Framework on a sole supplier basis and is seeking expressions of interests from suppliers that can supply, deliver and install / remove existing appliances on a NATIONAL basis including Scotland. The supplier MUST have an ESTABLISHED customisable online ordering portal and this is an essential minimum requirement where we can only see our core products and ability to block other product categories.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

•The online product catalogue will display full product information, specification, dimensions, warranty and delivery information as a minimum

•Available Next day delivery on a core product range

•Established Consolidated billing is a minimum requirement for this contract where we received one monthly invoice and backing data that matches the invoice amount. This can be offered to multiple company sub accounts within the same company and will have full backing data showing product details, cost centre information and full cost breakdown.

•Real time stock availability. If core list product is out of stock the buyer will always be able to buy an alternative product there and then at roughly the same price point and spec.

•‘Retail like’ customer buying experience and seamless checkout process – with the ability to add extra items at the same time as ordering the goods

•It is important that the delivery of goods and installation / removal of old appliance has to happen at the same time

•Internally trained operatives and drivers, NOT sub-contracted out for core items (white goods / appliances)

•Dedicated account management that is immediately accessible and responsive for colleagues during working hours Monday to Friday

•Evidence of reducing delivery failures (‘first time right’ ethos)

•To offer a Price Match Guarantee against any other UK retailer

•Swift implementation and onboarding within 4 weeks

•Must agree to Procurement Hub Framework Agreement

HIGHLY DESIRABLE

•Ability to book online delivery slots at checkout

•Ability to add extra items like removal/recycling of old appliance and installation

•Ability for the buyer to their track orders and buyer has full visibility and owns the ordering process. An example of this is a text message is sent on order, on dispatch and the evening before delivery that gives a delivery time slot. In addition it would be beneficial for the driver to telephone in advance on the day of delivery and ability to see driver drop number and area. Option to have time to suit at additional charge (i.e. AM)

•Online spend reporting capabilities at user level (full order history for the buyer) and Admin level (can see all orders)

•‘Click and Collect’ on smaller appliances and can use credit cards for this option

•Instant access to online experts that would offer advice on products (live video chat before or whilst placing an online order)

•Employee benefits offer (discount scheme) for colleagues

This framework is available for use by public sector bodies (and their statutory successors) cited by name in Schedule 1 to the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and additionally listed online at http://www.procurementhub.co.uk/eligibility-criteria/
